Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing, or playing StarPath, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. You must be at least 13 years old to use StarPath, or the age of digital consent in your country if that's higher.
Your license to use StarPath
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use StarPath on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to Apple's standard End User License Agreement and these Terms. StarPath itself - its code, design, art, writing, and every other original part of it - remains ours; this license doesn't sell or transfer any of that to you.
Acceptable use
Playing StarPath is a single-player experience with no accounts and nothing shared between players, so there isn't much to say here beyond the obvious. You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or content of the app, except where a law you're covered by makes that restriction unenforceable;
- Modify, redistribute, sublicense, or resell the app or any part of it;
- Use any automated tool, exploit, or hack to interfere with the app's normal operation or the ads/analytics it relies on to stay free;
- Use StarPath in any way that violates applicable law.
Ownership
All original content in StarPath - the code, the writing, the visual design, the StarPath name and mark - is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Clubs, competitions, and other in-game entities are original or fictionalized creations of the game; StarPath isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any real football club, league, or federation.
Advertising & purchases
StarPath is free to play and supported by ads served through Google AdMob, described in full in our Privacy Policy. Any in-app purchase StarPath offers now or in the future is processed entirely through Apple's In-App Purchase system, under Apple's own terms - we never handle your payment details directly, and all purchase questions, receipts, and refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
No warranty
StarPath is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied - including, without limitation, any warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Career simulation outcomes (stats, transfers, awards, narrative events) are generated by the game's own logic and randomness; they are not predictions, guarantees, or real football data.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of - or inability to use - StarPath, even if we've been advised of the possibility. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Termination
You can stop using StarPath at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate your ability to use StarPath if you violate these Terms. Because StarPath has no accounts, "termination" in practice just means the license above ends - there's no account to close.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the app changes. If we make a change that matters, we'll update the effective date above. Continuing to use StarPath after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
